PEO/PO/PSO (UG)

Program Outcomes (POs)(UG):

→Engineering Graduates will be able to:
1. To prepare students with sound knowledge in mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals so as to enable them to have successful career in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (Pre-preparation).
2. To prepare students to adopt to emerging technologies in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (Core Competence).
3. To enable students to deploy their knowledge and skills in multidisciplinary fields (Breadth).
4. To inculcate professional attributes and ethics to work in team (Professionalism).

Program Outcomes (UG)

→Students are expected to know and be able to:
1. Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, problem solving skills, algorithmic analysis and mathematical modelling to the solution of complex engineering problems.
2. Analyse the problem by finding its domain and applying domain specific skills
3. Understand the design issues of the product/software and develop effective solutions with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
4. Find solutions of complex problems by conducting investigations applying suitable techniques.
5. Adapt the usage of modern tools and recent software.
6. Contribute towards the society by understanding the impact of Engineering on global aspect.
7. Understand environment issues and design a sustainable system.
8. Understand and follow professional ethics.
9. Function effectively as an individual and as member or leader in diverse teams and interdisciplinary settings.
10. Demonstrate effective communication at various levels.
11. Apply the knowledge of Computer Engineering for development of projects, and its finance and management.
12. Keep in touch with current technologies and inculcate the practice of lifelong learning.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO) (UG)


1. Understand analyze and develop fundamentals of electronics and Telecommunication in various domains of Analog and Digital systems.
2. Apply standard practices and strategies from the courses related to Microwave, Signal processing, Microcontroller, Embedded, networking and Communication Systems environment to deliver a quality product for business success.
3. Employ Hardware Skills, modern computer languages and platforms in creating innovative career paths to be an entrepreneur.

→The objectives of the Electronics and Telecommunication engineering postgraduate program are:
1. To prepare graduates who will achieve peer-recognition; as an individual or in a team; through demonstration of good analytical, design and implementation skills.
2. Graduates will have become effective collaborators and innovators, leading or participating in efforts to address social, technical and business challenges.

Program Outcomes (PG)

→Students are expected to know and be able to:
1. Apply in-depth knowledge to evaluate and analyse complex engineering problems critically.
2. Find feasible and optimal solutions of complex engineering problems by considering societal and environmental factors.
3. Extract information to unfamiliar problems through researching the literature, apply suitable research methodology, techniques and tools for the development of projects, its finance and management.
4. Adapt the usage of modern tools, software and to keep in touch with current technologies and inculcate investigative culture, to complex engineering activities with an understanding of limitations.
5. Develop research attitude and multidisciplinary approach to demonstrate a capacity for self-management and teamwork to achieve common goals.

1. Understand, analyze and develop hardware and software in the areas related to various domains of Analog, Digital and Signal processing systems.
