Teachers Day and Engineers Day Celebration

Teachers’ Day and Engineers Day were celebrated on September 15, 2022, in the Mechanical Department of the Late G. N. Sapkal College of Engineering. MESA, the departmental association of students, was responsible for organizing the aforementioned event. The event commenced with the lamp lighting by the respected Prof. T. Y. Badgujar, HOD of the Mechanical Department.

World Cancer Day

Department of Computer & CSI student branch and Indian Blockchain Institute(IBI) had organized Webinar for BE Students. Expert Faculty from IBI Mr. Shihas Kunju as a Host along with Co-hosts Abhi Sinha and Akeesha Sharma delivered the online Seminar.

The National Safety Day

The National Safety Day (NSD) is celebrated every year on the 4th of March to commemorate the foundation of the National Safety Council (NSC) of India. On this occasion of National Safety Day, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the Late G. N. Sapkal College of Engineering, and MESA conducted a training session on safety during fire. Mr. Nilesh Navale and Ganesh Andure from Nilesh Enterprises Nashik provide hands-on training on safety during fire.

TechnoFest

KCT’s Late G. N. Sapkal Engineering College, Nashik, Department of Mechanical Engineering and MESA, the departmental association of students, organizes a national-level technical symposium TechnoFest to enhance the skills and development of undergraduate and graduate students. Project competitions and paper, poster, and innovative idea presentation competitions were organized for undergraduate and diploma students during TechnoFest. A total of 79 students for paper, poster, and innovative idea presentation competition and 140 students for project competitions are participated in this event.

World Cancer Day

World Cancer Day is observed annually on February 4 as an international event. The main aim of the initiative is to motivate reform and inspire action to raise awareness of cancer and encourage its prevention. On this occasion of World Cancer Day, MESA and staff members of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Late G. N. Sapkal College of Engineering conducted a Programme to raise awareness among the students. In this Programme, Mr. Yogesh Joshi created awareness about human health, cancer, and its causes.

The National Safety Day

Sapkal College of Engineering, and MESA organize an awareness program about road safety, workplace safety, human health, and environmental safety.

Expert Talk on the Basics of Automation

The Mechanical Engineering Department, in association with the Mechanical Engineering Student Association (MESA), has organized an expert talk on Basics of Automation for final-year students. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Ravindra Vinayak Angal from TAACT, Nashik. He specializes in mechatronics systems, which are used with hydraulic and pneumatic machines.

Expert Talk on Advances in Pneumatics

The Mechanical Engineering Department, in association with the Mechanical Engineering Student Association (MESA), has organized an expert talk on Advances in Pneumatics for final-year students. The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. M. P. Ray, MET Institute of Engineering, Nashik. He specializes in pneumatic systems, which are used in various automation industries.

Badgujar, HOD Mechanical Department.

Road Safety Awareness Programme

The Mechanical Engineering Department, in association with the Mechanical Engineering Student Association, has organized a road safety awareness program. In this Programme, events like rallies about road safety, awareness through posters, and the celebration of people who followed traffic rules by offering rose flowers were conducted. Also, the Traffic Police Department worked to spread awareness among the public. Mr. R. T. Karpe, A.P.I. Trimbakeshwar, Mr. P. B. Jadhav A.S.I. Trimbakeshwar, Mr. S. R. Chavan H.C. Trimbakeshwar, Prof. T. Y. Badgujar, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, and faculty members of Mechanical Department were present for this Programme.

SKH Project e-Competition 2020

KCT’s Late G. N. Sapkal Engineering College, Nashik, organizes various educational project presentation competitions every year to enhance the skills and development of the students. Due to the spread of the COVID-19 infection this year, competitions were organized at the institute "online." Under the guidance of Hon. Ravindra Sapkal, the SKH Project e-Competition 2020 was organized by the Mechanical Department of KCT’s Late G. N. Sapkal Engineering College, Nashik, for undergraduate and graduate students under the "E-Learning Project' from May 25 to July 10, 2020. A total of 181 project groups from the UG level and 67 project groups from diploma colleges from all over Maharashtra participated in this competition. The results of this competition were announced on July 17, 2020.

Seminar on Organic Sanitary Napkins for Menstrual Hygiene

The Mechanical Engineering Department, in association with the Mechanical Engineering Student Association, has organized a seminar on organic sanitary napkins for menstrual hygiene for all female members of institutes. Expert faculty from Setup India, Mr. Swapnil Nandkumar Neeta, conducted the session. Objective of The Programme aims to reduce girl child school dropout due to a lack of sanitary towels, to educate girls on hygiene menstruation, and increase awareness among the girls.

Expert Talk on Career-Oriented Software

The Mechanical Engineering Department, in association with the Mechanical Engineering Student Association (MESA), has organized an expert talk on career-oriented software for final-year students. The experts for the lecture are Mr. Rohan Tripathi, Husain Masalawala, and Sachin Pawar from the Institutes of Engineers India. The need for extra activities, such as learning software, is explained by the experts.

Expert Talk on Thermodynamics

The Mechanical Engineering Department, in association with the Mechanical Engineering Student Association (MESA), has organized an expert talk on thermodynamics for second-year students. The objectives of the talk are to understand the different concepts of hemodynamics and to apply the first and second laws of thermodynamics to various gas processes and cycles. Mrs. Nidhi A. Sharma delivers the expert talk.
