Message from the Academic Dean

Dear Students, Faculty Members and Parents,

It gives me great pleasure to serve as the Academic Dean of Late G. N. Sapkal College of Engineering, Nashik. Academic excellence is at the heart of every successful institution, and our endeavour is to create an environment where every student gets the opportunity to learn, explore, develop skills and grow with confidence.

At our college, we believe that engineering education should go beyond textbooks and examinations. Our academic practices focus on conceptual understanding, practical learning, problem-solving, innovation and application of knowledge. Through projects, laboratory work, internships, industry interaction, technical activities and modern teaching-learning methods, we encourage our students to connect classroom learning with real-world challenges.

As technology and industry are changing rapidly, we are committed to continuously enriching our academic environment. We encourage our faculty members to adopt effective pedagogical practices, emerging technologies and digital learning resources, while providing students with opportunities to develop technical, communication, leadership and professional skills.

Being located in Nashik, a region with a growing industrial, agricultural, entrepreneurial and educational ecosystem, we see significant opportunities for our students to learn from the needs and challenges of the surrounding region. We aim to strengthen meaningful connections between academia, industry and society, enabling our students to become industry-ready and socially responsible engineers.

Our students are encouraged to participate not only in academic activities but also in research, innovation, entrepreneurship, sports, cultural activities, professional societies and community engagement. We believe that true education develops both competence and character.

I also encourage students to take active responsibility for their own learning. Ask questions, experiment, learn from failures, seek guidance and make the best use of the opportunities available to you. Your curiosity and consistent effort are the strongest foundations for a successful career.

I sincerely appreciate the contribution of our faculty members, HoDs, administrative staff, parents and students in maintaining and continuously improving the academic standards of our institution.
