Message from the Chief Vigilance Officer
Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,
As the Vigilance In-Charge of Late G. N. Sapkal College of Engineering, Nashik, it is my responsibility to promote and uphold the values of integrity, transparency, accountability, fairness, and ethical conduct across all academic, administrative, and professional activities of the institution.
Why Vigilance Matters:
Vigilance is not limited to monitoring or identifying irregularities. It is primarily about creating a culture of honesty, responsibility, fairness, and ethical behaviour. In an academic institution, it helps ensure that students, faculty, and staff are treated fairly, institutional resources are used responsibly, and any instance of malpractice, misconduct, or unethical practice is addressed appropriately.
Our Collective Responsibility:
Every member of the LGNSCOE family has an important role in maintaining an ethical and transparent institutional environment. I encourage students, faculty, and staff to uphold integrity in examinations, teaching-learning activities, research, academic work, administrative processes, financial matters, use of institutional resources, and all other interactions.
Academic honesty, responsible conduct, respect for institutional rules, and accountability in our actions are essential for maintaining the reputation and credibility of our institution.
Reporting Misconduct:
If you observe or experience any unethical practice or misconduct, such as plagiarism, examination malpractice, unfair practices, favoritism, misuse of institutional resources, financial irregularities, corruption, or violation of institutional policies, you are encouraged to bring the matter to the notice of the Vigilance Cell.
